Innovation, science, networking – this is what the new conference Life Science Zurich Impact of the Life Science Zurich Business Network in collaboration with the University of Zurich, the ETH, the Canton of Zurich and the BIO-TECHNOPARK Schlieren-Zurich stands for. On 22 January 2018, the new platform attracted more than 300 participants to the Technopark Zurich, who held more than 150 one-to-one meetings as part of the exchange between academia and industry. Researchers and start-ups in the life sciences were given the opportunity to present their innovative projects to potential partners and investors. The topic of the conference was translational medicine, which was discussed in various presentations from different sides. The technical sessions covered oncology, immunology and neurology, and the plenary discussions focused on megatrends such as big data and artificial intelligence.

Life Science Communication was responsible for Life Science Zurich Impact’s overall appearance at the conference, from the creation of the logo to the design and implementation of the programme and conference booklet. The logo represents the innovative character and stands as a symbol of the networking idea between industry, academia and Zurich as a business location.
