The National Research Programme NRP 64 on the opportunities and risks of nanomaterials is about to be completed. In order for the general public to be informed about the findings of this programme, the results of the complex research projects must be explained in a simple way. Life Science Communication has produced short explanatory videos in which researchers are interviewed and their projects are explained by Professor Andrew D. Maynard from the renowned Risk Innovation Lab at Arizona State University (USA) using simple sketches on a whiteboard. Here is a first exclusive foretaste of the videos:
The videos were shot at Eawag in Dübendorf and at the Adolphe Merkle Institute in Fribourg. Life Science Communication produced the videos as part of the programme synthesis of NRP 64 of the Swiss National Science Foundation. The finished videos were published in April 2017.
