From 11 to 13 March 2026, the Healthcare Clowning International Meeting (HCIM 2026) will take place in Switzerland for the first time. Organized by the Theodora Foundation, the international congress will be held at the SwissTech Convention Center in Lausanne. Under the theme “Shaping the future of healthcare together”, the event will bring together professionals from medicine, nursing, science, and the arts from more than 30 countries.
Over three days, participants will enjoy a diverse programme featuring lectures, workshops, panel discussions, and artistic performances. The conference will explore the latest developments and research findings on the impact of healthcare clowning on the psychological and physical well-being of patients, families, and healthcare professionals. The focus will also be on inclusion, diversity, and the integration of art, humour, and empathy into medical practice.
Life Science Communication supports HCIM 2026 with communication activities on both national and international levels, as well as with fundraising efforts to help make this unique congress possible.
