On behalf of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), Mark Bächer is Head of Knowledge Transfer for the National Research Programme «Opportunities and Risks of Nanomaterials» NRP 64.
The central tasks are to prepare the acquired knowledge and to provide authorities and industry with a basis for regulating and planning the use of nanomaterials. Interdisciplinary exchange within the programme is also promoted. The research of the 23 projects has been completed since December 2015. In 2016, the results will be processed in a detailed synthesis report and presented to the public in 2017.
