Around 200 scientists are conducting research on the coronavirus at various Swiss research institutions in 28 projects to find better therapies, further vaccines and new insights into how to deal with the virus. The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) is funding the national research program with 20 million Swiss francs. The communication tasks in NRP 78 are diverse: from current tweets, web news and Youtube content to media relations, dialogue events and conferences for scientific exchange. The next virtual event of the NRP 78 is a scientific event under the motto “Reality Check” on November 17, at which the researchers will present their first interim results and discuss current developments in pandemic research.
