The European Patients’ Academy on Therapeutic Innovation (EUPATI) is committed to patient-centered research. EUPATI believes that involving patients in research and development leads to better medicines. Therefore, EUPATI is dedicated to the education and training of patients so that they can participate in medical research and development. In addition, EUPATI advocates the availability of objective, reliable and patient-friendly information to the public and spreads information materials on drug development.
EUPATI is a non-profit pan-European project led by the European Patients’ Forum. EUPATI has been active in Switzerland since 2016, the founding year of the association EUPATI Switzerland.
Life Science Communication supports the association in media relations and edits, designs and produces information material and give-aways for various events. For the DACH Symposium für Klinische Prüfungen 2018 in Zurich, the agency has designed a new information flyer and portrait flyer that use the metaphor of patients as the missing puzzle piece in drug development.
The next joint project between EUPATI Switzerland and the agency is the Swiss Patient Forum on 28 September, which will take place in Lausanne and will focus on the quality of life of patients.
