Spirecut
Founded only in 2020, the Swiss medtech startup Spirecut managed to bring a product to market within 3 years. This is based on a patented process that enables non-invasive surgical procedures applying ultrasound. Initially, the technology was developed for hand surgery instruments. Spirecut’s Sono-Intruments are used to treat carpal tunnel syndrome and trigger finger, which affects 7 percent of the population. In both cases, the technology allows the procedure to be performed without incision or anesthesia.
In preparation for the Swiss market launch of the surgical instruments, Life Science Communication developed a media strategy and supported the media relations. The primary aim of this was to increase the awareness of the young company and its innovation, as well as to provide information about the new, groundbreaking method.
