In April, the National Research Programme NRP 64 about the opportunities and risks of nanomaterials presented its findings and synthesis products at a national press conference. Different research projects, the Final Brochure and the White Paper were shown.

In the past six years, the NRP 64 examined the opportunities and risks of nanomaterials in the different stages of the life cycle through 23 research projects. These projects covered the fields of biomedicine, environment, energy, construction materials and nutrition.

Mark Baecher, supported by the team of Life Science Communication, coordinated the communication and knowledge transfer tasks in his function as Head of Knowledge Transfer on behalf of the Swiss National Science Foundation.
