A paradigm shift is imminent: World AIDS Day in 2016 was no longer just about solidarity, sadness and compassion for people living with HIV and AIDS. Thanks to great advances in treatment and prevention in recent years, it is time for a new perspective on HIV. With light projections on 1 December, HIV appeared in a new, different light in the Sihlcity shopping centre in Zurich, at the MAD Club in Lausanne and at the University Hospital in Geneva.

In this way, Life Science Communication showed that living with HIV is not inferior and that people living with HIV must not be stigmatized. Together we can end the exclusion of people living with HIV in Switzerland.
