Additionally, he has working knowledge of patient organisations and NGOs. Mark Baecher is a member of the professional associations SPRG (Swiss Public Relations Association), the Swiss Fundraising Association as well as of the Swiss Association of Science Journalism. He has worked for companies and organisations such as the Swiss Associate of Hill&Knowlton, Credit Suisse, the Swiss Aids Federation and the Swiss Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Martina Novak
Senior PR Consultant
MA Translation / CAS Health Communication
For 25 years, Martina Novak has been communicating on health topics. After studying languages at the University of Geneva, her career took her first into public relations and then into magazine journalism at TX Group, Ringier and Pro Senectute, where she specialized in medicine and health care. She has always been motivated by the desire to give readers an understanding of medical issues. With her postgraduate studies in Health Communication, she deepened her knowledge of the Swiss health care system. Before joining Life Science Communication, Martina Novak worked in corporate communications for a large health insurance company. There, she conceived and realized content for various online and offline channels as well as social media and was involved in setting up the company’s own newsroom.

Enrique Heer
Junior PR Consultant
BA Communication, specialisation in Journalism
During his bachelor’s degree in communication, Enrique Heer completed an internship at the Zürichsee Zeitung. He gained further professional experience after his studies as an online editor at SRF News and as a reporter at Radio Zürisee. While writing reports and creating radio broadcasts, he got in touch with a wide variety of people and topics. He particularly enjoyed dealing with health topics.
His curiosity about social change and his fascination for the life sciences therefore led him to Life Science Communication. In his function as Junior PR consultant, he can apply his experience from the journalism sector as well as his expertise knowledge from his communications studies.

Verena Luetschg
Senior PR Consultant
PhD Molecular Life Sciences ETHZ/UZH
After studying biology, Verena Luetschg completed various internships and a PhD program with a degree in molecular biology at the ETH Zurich/University of Zurich. She gained her experience in health care communication at an international consulting firm, at a think tank for science, economy and society as well as at Roche Diagnostics. She has just founded a consulting firm under the name About Tomorrow Consulting. She supports the Life Science Communication Team with communication strategies, medical writing and the development of trends and future scenarios.

Gabriel Alber
Diploma Designer Visual Communication
Gabriel Alber supports the team of Life Science Communication as a graphic designer and art director. He is a specialist in visual communication and has worked for different bigger agencies. He is also an artist and curated different art exhibitions. Today, Gabriel Alber runs his own company Alber Visuelle Kommunikation.

Andreas Greth
Diploma Communication and Multimedia Designer
Andreas Greth supports the Life Science Communication team in video, multimedia and animation projects. He has many years of experience as a medical illustrator and is a specialist for animations and the development of apps. Andreas Greth has been managing synaps studios with his business partner since 2015.
