Additionally, he has working knowledge of patient organisations and NGOs. Mark Baecher is a member of the professional associations SPRG (Swiss Public Relations Association), the Swiss Fundraising Association as well as of the Swiss Association of Science Journalism. He has worked for companies and organisations such as the Swiss Associate of Hill&Knowlton, Credit Suisse, the Swiss Aids Federation and the Swiss Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Anna Fraefel
Junior PR Consultant
MA English Literature and Linguistics / Modern History
With a master’s degree in English Literature and Linguistics as well as Modern History, she stands at the intersection of storytelling and science. Her studies equipped her with skills in writing and critical thinking, while her research work at the University of Zurich provided her with academic experience in the life sciences. At the same time, her work in the NGO sector allowed her to deeply engage with the field of public health.
This diverse background fuels her passion for communication in life sciences and public health, where she aims to clearly convey the complex interconnections between health and society. Through the blend of storytelling and scientific evidence, she seeks to bring well-founded and memorable health information to a broader audience.

Verena Luetschg
Senior PR Consultant
PhD Molecular Life Sciences ETHZ/UZH
After studying biology, Verena Luetschg completed various internships and a PhD program with a degree in molecular biology at the ETH Zurich/University of Zurich. She gained her experience in health care communication at an international consulting firm, at a think tank for science, economy and society as well as at Roche Diagnostics. She has just founded a consulting firm under the name About Tomorrow Consulting. She supports the Life Science Communication Team with communication strategies, medical writing and the development of trends and future scenarios.

Sarah Hartinger
Team Assistent
BA Business Psychology
Sarah Hartinger has gained broad experience in consulting, research and communication through her previous professional roles. In her part-time bachelor’s studies in Business Psychology at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, she combines this background with current scientific knowledge. As a team assistant, she supports Life Science Communication with a wide range of tasks, from organization and administration to PR campaigns, social media and events. She is also inspired by her interest in design and creativity, which she enjoys bringing into her work.

Gabriel Alber
Diploma Designer Visual Communication
Gabriel Alber supports the team of Life Science Communication as a graphic designer and art director. He is a specialist in visual communication and has worked for different bigger agencies. He is also an artist and curated different art exhibitions. Today, Gabriel Alber runs his own company Alber Visuelle Kommunikation.

Andreas Greth
Diploma Communication and Multimedia Designer
Andreas Greth supports the Life Science Communication team in video, multimedia and animation projects. He has many years of experience as a medical illustrator and is a specialist for animations and the development of apps. Andreas Greth has been managing synaps studios with his business partner since 2015.
